The Zomi Revolutionary Army (Eastern Command) successfully concluded its 38th military training ceremony today, December 20, at New Eden Camp in the Zogam liberated area. According to a spokesperson for an organization supporting the ZRA-EC, the training was completed under strict security measures.
“Due to the current security and regional circumstances, we cannot disclose the number of trainees. However, we can confirm that the training was completed,” said a ZRA-EC supporter.
The spokesperson discussed the organization’s current policy: “Different ethnic groups having their native lands should be able to manage their areas. We aim to establish a peaceful region free from conflicts that destroy lives and homes.”
The Zomi Revolutionary Army (Eastern Command), known for its commitment to the protection and sovereignty of the Zomi people, has been actively engaged in training and development to ensure the safety and security of the Zomi Land. The ZRA-EC plays a crucial role in maintaining stability in Zogam, responding to various threats, and promoting democracy and self-governance.
The 37th annual ZRA-EC military training graduation ceremony was previously held on October 1 at Camp New Eden.
