YANGON, Myanmar — Zomi Innkuan Yangon (ZIY) has officially announced its newly formed Advisory Board and Organizing Committee for the 2026–2027 term, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening unity, cooperation, and community development among Zomi people living in Yangon and beyond.
The announcement comes as the organization seeks to build upon its longstanding mission of fostering fellowship, mutual support, and collective advancement within the Zomi community. According to the organization, the newly appointed leadership team will guide ZIY’s activities and strategic direction over the next two years.
In its vision statement, ZIY emphasized the importance of unity among all Zomi people regardless of social, denominational, or organizational backgrounds. The organization expressed its desire to see the Zomi community move forward together as one family, working collectively toward a stronger, more prosperous, and harmonious future.
“The greatest aspiration of Zomi Innkuan Yangon is to see all Zomi people united as one family, journeying together in solidarity and building a brighter future through cooperation and mutual respect,” the organization stated.
Advisory Board
To provide guidance and strategic counsel, ZIY has appointed a distinguished group of respected community, academic, and church leaders to serve on its Advisory Board:

- Rev. Dr. Gin Khen Mang
- Rev. Dr. Suan Za Pau
- Pu Thang Cin Thawng
- Pi Angela Man Hau Niang
Organizing Committee (2026–2027)
Leading the organization for the new term is Dr. Cin Khan Lian, who will serve as Chairman.
